Teresa Wright starred in three of the most well known films of the 40s – SHADOW OF A DOUBT, MRS MINIVER and THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES.

She was Oscar-nominated in her first three films. She had an MGM contract (though aside from “Mrs Miniver, the rest of her films were on loan-out).

She had everything going for her and yet by 1950 ,the good parts were gone.

What happened to this fine actress? I dont know.

I was lucky enough to meet Teresa when she came to Scotland and gave a talk at the Edinburgh Film Guild.  She spoke well and had good recall of her films
