He’s a good actor, that Leonard Vole.
This was Tyrone Power’s last film. (He suffered a fatal heart attack while filming Solomon and Sheba, and Yul Brynner took over his role.)
Sir Wilfred was a little off his game after the heart attack or he never would have been fooled! At least, that’s the way I (and Sir Wilfred) are looking at it.
Vole had quite a few jobs. Maybe one of them was acting. Though probably he’s just good at being whoever the person he’s with wants him to be.
Yes, we’ll give Sir Wilfred the benefit of the doubt!
