I came across these lovely poster covers from a German film magazine, “ILLUSTRIERTE FILM-BUHNE” (Illustrated Movie-Stage) which was active from 1946 to 1969, with 8000 issues published.
With the covers being so good, I expect the magazines had other good photos in them.
If any of my translations via Google Translate don’t seem right, do let me know. It’s always interesting to see how the American titles were changed abroad.

Are you sure about 8,000 issues – that’s about one a day?
One of the issues has the number 5113 (North by North West), so it’s not clear how many came out. And they don’t seem to run in sequence eg Sugarfoot is 6514.
Looks like it may have amalgamated with another magazine, Illustr. film-Kurier.
Vienna, you made some good choices of covers. I also find it interesting to see how the American titles were changed abroad. The German title for THE UNFAITHFUL(1947) is
no holds barred.
I like the covers for SUGARFOOT(1952) with Adele Jergens and Randolph Scott; BACKLASH(1956) with Donna Reed and Richard Widmark; VERTIGO(1958) with Kim Novak and James Stewart; NORTH BY NORTHWEST(1959) with Eva Marie Saint and Cary Grant; HARRIET CRAIG(1950) with Joan Crawford; and THE UNFAITHFUL(1947) with Ann Sheridan, Lew Ayres, Zachery Scott, and although she isn’t on the poster cover, the wonderful Eve Arden.

Those are fun—- I was right in most cases. Most…… but not all.
I have a number of these featuring German and British films. Jassy 1947 with Margaret Lockwood becomes Zigeunerblut (Gypsy Blood).
I guess Gypsy Blood sounds more exciting.
Hi there, the German translation for Night Passage would be “Time has run out” or “The Time is up”. Google translations are always iffy. For Harriet Craig the German title would be “The Liar”.
