GREETINGS TO ANGELA LANSBURY

On this day in 1925 , ANGELA LANSBURY was born.
Angela’s career on stage,television and films is well known.
We salute this fine actress.

I will forever be grateful to have seen Angela in person at the Piccadilly theatre in London in GYPSY in 1973. A wonderful memory!

Dolores Gray had taken over from Angela in GYPSY by the time I saw it about 1975. She was wonderful in the part. I’ve never forgotten her ‘Rose’s Turn. Also saw Angela in Blithe Spirit in London some years back.
