Who needs a hat.
Re Ginger, I immediately thought of bees.
However, she is wearing poppies.
Good to know what Ginger was wearing and why. Thanks again.
Does anyone still wear……a hat? (Sorry, couldn’t resist!)
That’s title of two of my posts – 14/8/17 on Eve Arden and 3/10/20.
Probably the funniest line of the song “Here’s the Ladies who Lunch,” and I suppose a lot of us old movie buffs regret the passing of the hat-wearing era. Lovely photos.
I’ll never forget Elaine Stritch’s delivery of that line in “Company”. She owns it! And of course, Stephen Sondheim wrote it.
.Vintage Hollywood loved their hats and so do I.
Love your book on Ann Blyth ( ANN BLYTH: ACTRESS, SINGER, STAR.)
